Tsetis Group receives the Growth & Investment Award at the Protagonists of the Greek Economy 2026.

The Tsetis Group of Pharmaceutical Companies has been honoured with the Growth & Investment Award at the Protagonists of the Greek Economy 2026, organised for the 11th consecutive year by Direction Business Network. The awards recognise companies that stand out for their financial performance, growth, strategic investments, international presence and overall contribution to the Greek economy.

The award ceremony took place on Monday, 13 July 2026, bringing together more than 450 senior business executives, government representatives and members of the academic community. The award was received on behalf of the Group by Athanasios Archondikis, Vice President & Operations Director.

This distinction recognises the Group’s consistent and dynamic growth trajectory, as well as its long-standing strategy of investing in scientific research, innovation, high value-added production and the international competitiveness of the Greek pharmaceutical industry.

Investment in Research & Development has long been a strategic pillar of the Tsetis Group. During 2025–2026, its pharmaceutical companies, UNI-PHARMA and InterMed, secured 26 national, European and international patents in 2025, followed by 22 additional patents during 2026, reaffirming the Group’s continuous innovation capacity and the development of high scientific and technological value products. These patents extend across strategically important international markets, demonstrating that the scientific knowledge generated by the Group is internationally recognised, systematically protected and capable of supporting innovative healthcare solutions with global potential.

At the same time, during the 2025–2026 academic year, the Group funded nine research projects in collaboration with universities, research institutions and start-ups, strengthening the connection between industry and academia while contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge.

Through the Kleon Tsetis Foundation, the Group continues to invest in Greece’s scientific talent by awarding 12 scholarships in 2025, announcing four additional scholarships for 2026, while also supporting two research projects at public universities through dedicated grants.

This long-term strategy reflects the Tsetis Group’s commitment to systematically strengthening Greece’s innovation ecosystem through continuous investment in science, research and people. With a strong focus on scientific excellence, active longevity and the responsible integration of Artificial Intelligence into pharmaceutical research, the Group remains committed to developing solutions that create lasting value for healthcare, society and the economy.

The Protagonists of the Greek Economy awards are based on companies’ official financial data, as presented in their published financial statements and documented in the 13th edition of “The Powerful of the Greek Economy” («Οι Ισχυροί Της Ελληνικής Οικονομίας»), published by Direction Business Network.
